St. Alban's Church at Streatham Park was faced with the enforced demolition of its existing church building. The site, in a prime location for redevelopment, was sold to finance the rebuilding of the church on their smaller church hall site. By arranging the buildings around the perimeter of the site we were able to accommodate a 200 seat extendable worship area, vestries, meeting rooms and a new church hall around a cloistered garden, giving echoes of a former time.
