The auditorium can be changed to suit various uses by retracting the raked seating, or sliding panels into place to black out the performance space. An orchestra pit can be formed using a hydraulic lift to lower a section of the floor. Built on three levels, there are teaching, storage and exhibition galleries that are flexibly designed to provide foyers during performances
