The main pool is a 25-metre 6-lane deck-level pool with two 1-metre and one 3-metre Olympic standard diving boards. There is also a 13-metre x 6-metre x 0.9-metre deep learner pool with shallow steps across one end. A viewing gallery for 200 people sits over the changing rooms, stores, staff office and entrance.

Windows are kept to a minimum and carefuily positioned to avoid direct reflections off the water which can be dangerous for divers. The colours of walls and floors were kept muted to draw the attention of the onlookers to the bright azure of the pool. External materials were chosen to reflect those of the main school buildings.
